Chauncey Williama: I can give you ACT Tips.English - The ACT hates long flowery sentences. If two answers seem correct choose the one that's shorter. The ACT's philosophy is, if you can say it in less words, say it. Math - One minute a problem. The math section is kind of set up from easiest to hardest. Try to go quickly through the beginning to pick up time, but obviously don't work too quickly as to make mistakes. USE YOUR CALCULATOR!Reading - 8 minutes a passage. Try to do 5 minutes (or less) reading and 3 minutes answering questions. Once your eight minutes are up, fill in C all the way to the next passage and switch. If you do this correctly, you'll have three minutes at the end and you can go back and answer a few questions. If you don't know the answer right away, don't waste time on it, don't even read the choices. You're taking time from a question you may know. Scie! nce - Five minutes per passage. Once those five minutes are up "C" all the way down and change to the next passage. Forget everything from the previous passage. It's no longer important.
