Suggest me a famous author.?

answers1:(Raises eyebrow) While I would suggest just visiting a
bookstore nearest you, here are some suggestions:For a younger
audience (teens included):Christopher Paolini--Eragon, Eldest and
Brisingr, or the Inheritance CycleStephanie Meyer--The Twilight Series
(I have not personally read them, but the fans should say enough)J.K.
Rowling--The Harry Potter SeriesC.S. Lewis--The Chronicles of Narnia
Series (Don't know the true name)Julia Golding--The Companions Quartet
SeriesFor an older audience (these have more violence, sexual themes,
swearing, and just are unappealing to people my age, me being the
exception, of course):Since I do only read these every once in a
while, I have only two suggestions...anything by James Patterson and
Hidden Prey by John Sandford...Show more
answers2:Burned, Crank, and Glass by Ellen HopkinsSomething borrowed
by Emily Griffin The lovely bones by Alice Sebold
answers3:The Lovely Bones and Lucky by Alice Sebold
answers4:I'll second the Thrawn trilogy. And Timothy Zahn also wrote
a good tie-in novel called Scoundrels, which involves Han, Chewbacca
and Lando in a con.
answers5:The Stranger by Albert Camus is a fantastic book. It's
required reading in France, I've heard, not sure where you are though.
He's written quite a few other books as well, so if you like it
there's more to read.

answers7:I'm a huge Star Wars fan. Star Wars has been my childhood,
and continues, and always will be my favorite movie series ever. I've
watched the whole trilogy over 100 times. I got Star Wars
collectibles, posters, and clothing everywhere. The one thing is I
never have actually read any of the Star Wars books. I've never really
been a reader, but for the past couple months I've been reading a lot
more. Since today is Star Wars Day, I want to star reading some of the
books! Now, with Star Wars, I'm actually interested in the ancient
history, classic you can say, of Star Wars. I want to read the books
that go back way back to the origins of Star Wars, the things the
shaped the universe. I want to read about people like Darth Revan,
Darth Nihilus, Darth Magnus, Starkiller, Darth Malak, Exar Kun, etc...
I want to read about epic Battles that occured before, or even after
the Star of the Clone War, I want to gain a very vast knowledge of
Star Wars past. What books should I look into?...Show more
answers8:1984.~ Pax
answers9:Um........can you also suggest a famous book by them. Please...
answers10:Start with the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn. Those books
started it all.
answers11:Yep. Agreeing with the person above. Read the book. Contains
a lot of things concerning other countries. They were given names like
Eastasia, Eurasia. Mostly they were asian people. I think it was an
influence from when he was working in Burmuda and places which could
have influenced him to write some of these things....Show more
answers12:Darren Shan
answers13:Neil Gaiman. He is the author of the book Stardust which was
turned into a movie, and also the book Coraline that will be coming
out soon. I suggest "Neverwhere" and "American Gods". Those are my two
favorites by him.
answers14:The only decent one I can think of is snickerThe synonyms
for laugh on google are so funny: titter, twitter, snigger, yuk,
tee-hee, dissolve into laughter, split one's sides, be (rolling) on
the floor, be killing oneself (laughing)like who even says the last
one??
answers15:Possibly your characters are just laughing too much, and too
often, without motivation. Have a look at this. And I quite agree, on
no account use 'chortle'- 'snicker' suggests laughing unpleasantly,
much like 'snigger' (which has the added implication of laughing at
something the sniggerer considers rude).Killing oneself laughing, and
dying of laughter are not uncommon cliches - you could use them in
dialogue but not in your narrative - possibly. But the main point is to
look at what this laugher is all about. Once you've established this
the words should fall into place....Show more

answers22:I need a word for a male laughing other than chuckled. I

answers24:For you, a person crazy about books, and good ones too
(judging by that you want good authors and good books named), you
should try WebLiterature. The books there are only classics, and only
that ones that have conquered time and eternity. Try George Orwell
(Animal Farm and 1984), Bram Stoker (Dracula) and Arthur Conan Doyle
(Sherlock Holmes stories and novels) if you want immortal books.
Wuthering heights by Emily Bronte, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte and
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen are other immortal
greats.http://www.webliterature.net...Show more
