ever repaired a crashed car?

Donnell Mollo: it looks like a car scraped the side of the car and the front bumper but there are also little but good size dents all around the body

Oda Mauson: You gotta be very careful. Not to be mean, but it doesn't sound like you know what your looking at. Most new cars (including the Nissan 350Z) don't have frames. Most cars nowadays have whats called a unibody design. The frame isn't the only structural support anymore, the whole car is essentially one piece. And depending of where the car was hit you could have damage to multiple structures that you wont be able to fix yourself. Things like the engine cradle (or front subframe), strut towers, the rear quarter panels, any of the pillar supports, etc. How bad did the car get hit and where?...Show more

Shena Etulain: best place to look for a bent frame is on the frame body panels can be bought in china from from wing lee down the alley behind chone lees dinner beside ping lees marketit is a good plan jus! t remember that every thing will have to be inspected when your done and will cost more than car is worth however your not stuck with payment i used to that stuff myself in my dads garage even did the paint therefore good luck with everything wish i was 40 years younger...Show more

Ervin Laeger: Go to www.diy-car-painting.com for all you need to know on how to paint a car from home. It is 100% free to use.

Forest Duttinger: The 2007 Nissan 350 Z uses uni-body construction. This means that many of the body panels are part of the car's frame. The only non-structural panel's on that car that I know of are the doors, the engine cover (hood), and the front inner and outer fenders. All the other body panels are part of the frame. and if any of them are damaged you will need to take the car to a frame shop for alignment.
