I need to buy a car, but have no credit?

Myron Leftwich: No pumpkin, no dealership is going to give you a car and no one is going to sign a loan for you either. You'll be paying cash for that first car and using public transportation until you save that cash up.

Tyree Allenbrand: Do you have a job.? Some places will loan you money based on your employment. But with no money and no credit and no cosigner, you will pay dearly.Maybe you could offer to buy one or your parents' extra cars.

Sibyl Siwik: No, you are wrong. $3000 is very low for a 2004 car, and all cars require maintenance. The water pump is less than $150, so is not a big deal. All cars, even new ones, need more maintenance than that.In fact, new cars have defects from being assembled in too much of a hurry, so are usually in need more maintenance than an older car with the bugs worked out.Your logic is wrong. You don't want to spend $3000 for 5 years of being able to drive it, but you are willing to buy a new car for $18,000 for 15 years ! of being able to drive it.That is for 3 times the amount of driving, you are willing to pay 6 times as much? That is bad logic. You can probably get a car at a dealership, but you will have to pay much more interest, so it will not be worth it.And they won't risk a car newer than an 04 on a bad credit risk.Nor will it be in as good of shape as your parent's cars....Show more

Clemmie Burkleo: I am looking for a used car. Nothing over 9g's. Thats my max. ideally, id like to find something for around 7 and I am looking for an 06 or 07 but im willing to take an older car if it gets me from point a to point b

Dorine Nurre: I am working, I work full time. I don't mind a used car. I offered to buy a car off of one of them, and come to find out, that the one I have been driving has 3000 left on it...its an 04. That is freaking 10 years old just about...3 grand is too much left to pay on a car that probably isn't going to make it another 5 years. Plus, the water pump needs! done. its a flat money pit.

An Cardine: If you have no ! over the table income, forget about it.If you do find a dealer that will finance you, it will be a cheaper used car with a sky high interest rate.
