how can i check my voice mail on a nextel plan with out using my cell phone???

Manual Burtis: Well if the phone is cut off you won't be able to hear the voice mails even if there is another way to listen. I'm not sure if it works with Nextel but on some phones like Verizon you can just dail your cell phone number from another phone and press star and it will ask for your password. I'm not sure if its star it may be pound. Try both. Maybe you should have a talk to with your brother about paying bills late. It can hurt his credit.
