Why do republicans want to use tax payer money for health care?

You think that health care is expensive now, let the federal government get a hold on it. Their track record is that administrative costs run about 75% to 78% of the bill in all of their programs. That leaves only 25% going to the actual program. Another problem is that we all would have equally poor health care and procedures. The Republicans want the problem cured, but not at the expense of the taxpayer and not at the expense of the best health care delivery system in the world. There are other options without making a huge government bureaucracy out of it. Take Medicare as an example, small compared to the Democrat plan. is failing to perform, and it's membership is being told that many clinics no longer honor Medicare insurance.
