Jed Mutone: if you have a year round pass then a black out day is a day you accually cant use your year round pass. Normaly cause they expect the park to be super busey or something! If you haev a pass on the back of it, it normaly tells you the black out days you cnat use them
Ester Bryand: They could have two meaning. For people with an Annual(Season) Pass these would be days that your particular Pass would not be valid. These are usually Holiday periods or days they expect higher than normal crowds. How each park handles this depends on the Park. For example Disneyland has several different passes, the lo! wer the cost the more blockout days they have. But they also give you the ability to pay a reduced amount from the regular admission and go in on a blockout date. They could also be when a particular coupon is not valid. As with the Season Pass this is usually holidays or days they have a special event....Show more
Nia Monopoli: Define Amusement Park
Travis Sherrock: Don't know exactly for amusement parks, but "blackout days" usually mean that you can't use a coupon or frequent-flyer miles on those particular days.Like you can't use your frequent-flyer miles to travel the week of Thanksgiving. For an amusement park, it probably either means that your season pass is not good on that day (if they are having a special 4th of July concert, you might have to pay to get in, even if you have a season pass), or that they don't accept ANY coupons on those days, or perhaps even that the park is closed except to special visitors (if a big nearby company has rented the park! for its employees only on that day)....Show more
